Prompt: 202 - Clean slate
Word count: 100
It's not a miracle that Mag walks again on Christmas day. Injuries heal, and December 25th is as good a day as any to try her legs.
Plus, the cane Kilo made her for Christmas (sturdy wood, a handle that fits her palm perfectly) was a pretty obvious hint.
They climb the stairs slowly, then sit together outside the Dollhouse, breathing cool air and looking up, right through the clear night sky into space. Nothing miraculous about that either. LA is rebuilding, but it'll take a while to reach the old levels of smog and glare.
Still... all those stars.
