Dawn sat down at the computer. She opened up her email. She knew she probably shouldn’t be checking it in school but no one was around to catch her. She smiled when she saw an email from Seth. She’d met him and his family over the summer while she was visiting her dad. Dawn clicked on the subject entitled Merry Chrismukkah. Seth had explained his made up holiday to her this summer.

Hey Dawn,

How are you? I just wanted to know if you wanted to come spend Chrismukkah with me and my family this year. Let me know.

Dawn was psyched. She really missed her new friend. She’d just have to ask Buffy first. But Dawn knew this year was gonna be fun.
