Still Grrr

Two quick announcements here. The first is that the prompt for tonight and next Thursday is going to be about two hours late in posting. I have a previous commitment so I won't be here to post. But no worries, it just gives you more time. And since you all know that tonight is the Free For All, after 8pm PST you can post your Free For All entries and I will just approve them after I post the prompt.

Second, between the poll about voting and talking to lauratd, we've decided to go to a monthly voting system. What does this mean for you, as a participant? Well, first, you'll have more time to complete prompts. If you have an idea for a prompt week one but it doesn't take shape until the free for all, you can still post it during the free for all and it will be up for voting. Second, it means that I will have to do less work in doing banners so I can start doing the special participation banners again. I still haven't decided whether I'm going to do generic banners, pick the caps myself, or let people pick the caps. I will catch up with all the banners I owe (almost a year's worth) and we will start up with fresh ones in April. Third, with voting being done at the end of the month, we are going to leave voting open for a month. This gives people plenty of chances to look at all the entries and really think about their picks.

I hope this is going to work for everyone. I really appreciate all the feedback that we got. This community doesn't exist without members. Plain and simple. I want this community to be able to adapt and change so we can continue to grow and thrive.

To deird1 and angelus2hot: I got your emails, I will be replying this weekend. I just had a very crazy week IRL. I'm so sorry. I'm not ignoring you. :)
